This tour starts with a journey to the ancient city of Jericho, the oldest town in the world, through the road shared by Palestinians and Israelis, views of the settlements and desert areas are seen.  Upon arrival in Jericho structures of the oldest known stairs and wall are visible. From there visit the Monastery of Temptation, where Jesus spent 40 days and nights fasting and meditating, followed by views of hills and rivers from Wadi Qelt.  The tour continues to a site where annual pilgrimage festivals are held and a display of spledid architecture can be seen, Maqam Al-Nabi Musa "the prophet Moses", then to Hisham's Palace for more ancient architecture and a view of the "tree of life".  The Jericho Tour concludes at the edge of the Dead Sea, Qumran, the site where the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were found, then continues into the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth.  The Dead sea is an extrodinary place to swim, containing a high content of salt making it impossible for any form life to live in its waters, and the mud and minerals of the Dead sea are natural healers and skin exfoliators. After experiencing the waters and mud of the Dead Sea, the journey ends returning to Bethlehem.
